'Fisk og Vilt' translated means 'Fish and Game'. The name was apparently taken from an old butcher shop sign found at the location. Going there is a bit of a balancing act. If you get there in time (like we did) it's a great place to spend the night. If however you're late out the door, buckle down for a good half hour of standing in line to get in. This would be much more of a problem if it wasn't for the very convenient backyard converted into a dance floor and smoking area. If the club felt too crowded, you needed a cigarette or you just wanted some air, you didn't need to go outside and stand in line to get in. Perfection.
On the downside all the drinks we ordered tasted suspiciously like tequila. But that is really the only negative thing I have to say. The bartenders were very patient with us, although it took numerous tries to work the credit card terminal.
If you’re going out to meet new people and make friends, this place is probably not your best bet. It’s a bit too ‘hip’. Filled with people who are just a tad bit too attractive to bother with being pleasant.
